The Fundamentals of Defensive Pistol course is designed as a logical next step for new or novice gun owners after completion of a basic pistol shooting class. Students should already have an understanding of firearms safety, fundamentals and manipulations to attend.

Topics covered in the course include:

• Firearm Safety & Equipment Selection
• Defensive Pistol Fundamentals (with Live Fire exercises) to include Drawing and Re-holstering
• Opportunities and suggestions for further development

Students will need: a reliable handgun, 150 rounds of commercially available ammunition (does not have to be defensive ammunition) and a holster. A loaner handgun and holster can be provided if arranged at time of registration. Ammunition can be provided at the replacement cost of the ammunition.

Course is limited to 4 students and costs $80 to attend. Email blackbird.armsia@gmail.com to register or with any questions.
