Defensive Pistol in the Home Course

Do you have the necessary skills and tactics to handle a home invasion? Do you know what steps to take after a home-defense shooting? How can you harden your home’s defenses to help prevent an invasion from occurring in the first place?
Defensive Pistol in the Home will answer these questions, and more.
Lecture topics will include:
-Defensive accuracy
-Flash sight picture
-Color codes of awareness
-Why you shouldn’t go searching for the home invader
-How to set up a safe room
-Psychological, physiological and physical reactions to a violent encounter
-What to do after shots are fired
Live-fire portion will include:
-Shooting around cover
-Different shooting positions
-Point shooting
-Multiple assailants
-After-action assessment
This is not a beginner course, and students should come into the class with a firm grasp of safe gun-handling. Proof of this can include the following: NRA Basic Pistol or FIRST Steps Pistol certificate, Military DD 214 with pistol qualification, or participation in a shooting competition. Please contact me if you have any questions about qualifying for the course. You will need a handgun, two magazines and 100 rounds of ammunition. Cost is $100. Click here to register online.
