Participants in the Ames Youth Shooting Group are youth between the ages of 10 and 18 who are interested in learning and practicing competitive shooting skills with .22 caliber pistols and rifles. Each practice will include a match using rules similar to Rimfire Challenge matches.
The match consists of 3 stages with five targets per stage. Minimum round count is 75 rounds. Shooters will shoot five runs on each stage so multiple magazines or speeds loaders are preferred. No tube fed guns allowed. Cost: $7.50 per entry.
