Setup at 7:30 am, sign-in at 8:30am. walk through at 9am. **NOTE** - the outdoor range is closed for the duration of this event - this includes both the pistol and rifle ranges.

The Ames chapter hosts a local IDPA monthly match every 2nd Sunday of the month. The match follows current IDPA rules as well as possible. Matches start with check in at 8:45am during summer months on the outdoor rifle and pistol ranges. During the winter months matches will start one hour later if outdoors, however may be held on the indoor range if conditions are inhospitable on the outdoor ranges. Equipment to get started, pistol with proper holster, at least 3 magazines, with a mag pouch for 2 mags, a cover garment for concealment, of course eye and hearing protection is required at all times. For more information about IDPA go here https://www.idpa.com/

Match cost is $10 for first run, $5 for additional runs if desired.
