The 4-hr Intro to Defensive Handgun shooting course is designed to continue students' development of reliable safe gun handling skills and marksmanship with a focus on the defensive use of a handgun for personal protection. Students should have completed a basic pistol shooting class or have equivalent experience with a handgun. Students must bring a reliable handgun, a holster and 150 rounds of commercially manufactured ammunition. This class meets requirements for the Iowa Permit to Carry Weapons.

 

Loaner pistols & holsters are available and we can provide ammunition if needed at the cost of the ammunition. Class is limited to 4 students - cost of the class is $80.
