The facilities for those families, individuals, and groups sharing common interests that fellow Ikes members share to get together and have fun.  The Ames Ikes chapter is unique, unlike many other Ikes chapters, we have the facilities for multiple forms of outdoor recreation.  We have one of the few rifle ranges in this part of Iowa with a 200 yd range.  We also have an Archery Range, Camping, Hiking Trails,  Trap & Skeet Range, and five acre lake.

Ames Ikes is also camaraderie.  We have many wonderful members associated within our organization.  Each member bringing their experience and knowledge to help make our Ames Ikes Chapter one that we are proud of.  Ames Ikes celebrated 60 years in the community in 2010.  Many area and local residents have made this club what it is today, thank you for your prior support, and thank you for your continued support.
