It's easy to become a Member of the Ames Izaak Walton League. Here are the benefits of Membership.Unlimited access to the park, gate access will be provide upon signup. A monthly chapter newsletter and the national publication "Outdoor America". Year round access to the rifle & pistol ranges, the archery practice range, the trap & skeet range, the Ikes lake for fishing and canoeing, hiking trails, and the Ikes campground. Special membership rates on shooting events. Plus you will be helping support conservation at the local, state, and national levels. Remember the only way to get all of these benefits available only at the Ames Chapter is by becoming a member of this local chapter. (Please note that the National and State Memberships do not include the local annual membership to the Ames Chapter and therefore do not include use of the Ames park.)
